Currently, I work on projects involving flavour, particularly in cocktails, as a creative consultant to award winning bars. I am a barista and I trained in espresso with Jonathan Sharp at Kilimanjaro, Project and Wellington Cafes in Edinburgh. I worked at Gorilla Perfume/LUSH in a creative capacity from 2002-2014. I was a panel member of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. I was a creative consultant at Lounge Bohemia from 2011-2014 (The bar made Top 50 bars during this time). I also hold olfactory events at The Edinburgh Film Festival where I scent films and the Edinburgh Science Festival where I both curate and participate in events involving sense of smell and taste. I’ve also curated events involving fragrance and literature at the Scottish Poetry Library and at different venues around the UK.
